Project's Goal

To enhance food security, improve household nutrition, and strengthen the economic resilience of the most vulnerable families by promoting sustainable subsistence farming. The project will equip participating households with practical agricultural training, quality seeds, essential farming tools, and ongoing technical support to establish and maintain productive home gardens. By increasing local food production and encouraging climate-smart agricultural practices, the project aims to reduce hunger, improve self-sufficiency, create opportunities for income generation, and build long-term resilience against food insecurity and economic shocks.

About the project

The project also promotes environmentally sustainable farming practices, encourages efficient use of natural resources, and builds the capacity of families to become more self-reliant and resilient to economic and climate-related challenges. By increasing local food production and agricultural knowledge, the initiative contributes to healthier communities and long-term rural development.
